ART MOVEMENT OF MIAMI is located in the heart of Miami, Wynwood. This gym is community-focused, open, sweaty, fun, and transformative. The School offers kids, classes, muay Thai classes for adults and teenagers, and a Jiujitsu program that is beginner-friendly and challenging for intermediate students.

During the week of my 34th birthday, I got to attend a photography class at Penland under a work-study scholarship. I walked a lot, I worked a lot, and I got to photograph a lot. Being in this mountain was not only grounding but necessary. Necessary to my soul ! The oxygen, the greener, and the view was so beautiful.

2019 has brought me so much abundance in creativity, love, money, and movement. I am so grateful for all the beautiful souls that trust me to hold space for them in the process of being photographed. I know first hand that getting your photo taken is a very vulnerable experience. All of the fears of our insecurities come out and we fear that we are portraying our flaws rather than our authenticity. My intention behind spirit portraiture is to create a healing experience for the person in front of the camera. To be able to let their spirit- their natural state of being- bloom, flourish and shine.

I am so glad they chose the work we did together to be the photos for unveiling for their new project. I love this photo because it reminds me of my siblings and our interactions. Fun, light and powerful.
